Conditions for Italian visa 

Anyone who has to apply for a visa must meet certain conditions set by Schengen and Italian authorities.

The following are required documents to apply for a visa:

  •  Italian visa operation form,
  •  Valid passport/ trip document,
  •  Civil status documents,
  •  Trip insurance,
  •  Evidence of trip,
  •  Evidence of accommodation,
  •  Evidence of sufficient financial means,
  •  Cover letter,

Photo requirements

You must have two identical passport photos which meet the Schengen picture conditions. That means they must be:

  •  Taken in the last six months,
  •  With 35x45mm confines,
  •  The face must take up 70-80 of the picture and should be colored and clear. 

Civil status documents

You must have any civil status documents that may be needed of you, like a marriage document.

Duplicate former visas

Still, you must give photocopies of each of them along with your operation for an Italian visa, If you had any former visas attached to your passport. 

Trip health insurance 

You need to have trip insurance which is valid not only in Italy but in the wholeness of the Schengen area.

Evidence of trip 

When you apply for an Italian visa, you’ll be needed to give evidence of the trip. This means you have to show a reserved flight diary and/ or flight reservation. This is used to show that you have a reserved flight to enter and leave Italy. It isn’t inescapably a factual flight ticket, however, in some cases, it’s possible the Italian authorities may indeed ask for that. 

Evidence of accommodation in Italy 

Depending on where you’re staying while you’re in Italy, you must include evidence of accommodation along with your Italian visa operation. 

Evidence of accommodation could be a hostel reservation, evidence of home reimbursement, a letter from your guarantor (if you’re staying with family), etc.

Evidence of sufficient financial means 

When you apply for an Italian visa, you have to prove to the Italian authorities that you can sustain yourself financially during your stay. The quantum changes depending on the length of stay and whether you have any dependents.

Traveling for business

To apply for an Italy Business visa you should submit the following documents:

  • Letter of assignation from your host. Letter of assignation by the other company in Italy that you’ll be visiting, or the organizer of the training/ event that you’ll attend. 
  • Evidence of former trade relations between the companies (If applicable).

Conditions for an Italy cultural event visa 

  • Letter of assignation from the organizer of the event, detailing the nature of the conditioning that will be held. 
  • Entry tickets. 
  • The conditions of registration to the event. 
  • A detailed program of the event. 
  • Proof you took part in former events of the same nature and/ or won an award. 

Traveling to seek medical care in an Italian sanitarium

The conditions for an Italy medical treatment visa are the following:

  • Letter from your medical institution in your home country stating that you need to admit medical treatment in Italy,
  • Your medical history,
  • Official document of acceptance from the Italian medical institution attesting they can give you the medical treatment you bear, 
  • Substantiation of accommodation in the Italian medical institution,
  • Evidence of at least 30% of the payment for the medical treatment in Italy,
  • In case the ministry of health in your home country covers the costs of your treatment, they must declare so in a sanctioned letter,
  • Evidence that the case is able to cover any extra medical costs that may arise.

Immigration program in Italy 

The conditions for one who wishes to live in Italy depend on his or her origin. Emigrants from the EU- states are anticipated to visit the Italian delegation. EU migrants must stay in Italy for a period of 5 years before applying for citizenship.
