Despite Denmark being part of the Schengen zone, the procedure for obtaining a visa to enter this country is somewhat stricter than for other European countries. A Danish student visa is only issued if there is official confirmation that you intend to study in Denmark. At the same time, the age of the applicant is not at all important.

A student visa to Denmark allows you to stay in the country throughout the entire period of study. If necessary, the document can be extended. The term for consideration of applications for a student visa is 20 days or more. If the Danish consular service decides to check the applicant through the immigration office, this time will be increased to 3 months. Information on the readiness of the permit can be found on the website of the Consulate.

Denial of a Student Visa in Denmark

Some applicants applying for permission to enter Denmark have to deal with the denial of a student visa.
