This page will explain the many types of visas available in Russia, the conditions for obtaining a Russian visa, and how to obtain entry permission as a non-resident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basic visa application criteria for Russia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The criteria for obtaining a visitor permit in the Russian Federation are detailed here. Please keep in mind that the necessary documentation will vary based on the length and objective of your trip, as well as the permit type. The Embassy has the power to request further credentials at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Two passport photos are six months old, coupled with a filled and approved visa request document.<\/li>
  • A passport or traveling card that has at minimum two empty sheets and is acceptable for at least 180 days after the end of the visit.\u00a0<\/li>
  • Evidence of legal traveling healthcare coverage for the duration of your trip in Russia.<\/li>
  • Lodging information via an invite or evidence of your accommodation booking throughout your visit.<\/li>
  • Proof of employment in the shape of verified papers such as an employment statement, a school degree, an enrollment record, or a retirement fund presentation.<\/li>
  • Data from the candidate’s financial statement demonstrates that they have enough funds for the trip.<\/li>
  • A return ticket as proof of your return from the visit.\u00a0<\/li>
  • Pension report for the previous six months, if you’re retired.<\/li>
  • If the individual cannot cover their expenditures, verification of a sponsor is required.<\/li>
  • University admission certificate if you are applying for a student visa<\/li>
  • If you are self-employed and seek a visa for trading in the country, you are required to submit a report of the business’s financial balance for the last six months.<\/li>
  • If a Russian firm employs you, you need to submit the evidence of recruitment and the proof of your skills required for the job.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Russia <\/strong>visa regulations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    • For trips to the Far-Eastern Regional Capital, Kaliningrad Region, or Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad Provinces, electronic permits are provided without any cost. [1]<\/sup><\/li>
    • Passport owners from previous Russian republics like Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, and others can visit Russia regularly.<\/li>
    • Candidates for long-term visitor or employment permits may be required to submit to an HIV\/AIDS test.<\/li>
    • Upon arriving at Russian terminals, an entrance card must be completed.<\/li>
    • All non-residents must have their biometric fingerprints taken as part of the visa request procedure.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      [1]<\/sup> E-visa bearers are not permitted to travel to other parts of the Russian State. Digital registrations are accepted. The e-visa request form must be filed at least 20 days before the anticipated trip day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      [2]<\/sup> The entrance card comprises two components, one of which must be held by the passenger until the journey to exit the nation securely. Many businesses will not admit visitors who do not have an entrance card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Visa expenses for Russia <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The cost of a Russian permit varies based upon the kind of visa and the location of the request. Except otherwise noted, the visa fee includes the Consulate’s administrative charges and service charges. Also, keep in mind that the cost is non-refundable, which implies that you will not be compensated if your request is rejected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
