You should file applications at the Foreigner\u2019s Office in the respective country.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The application needs to be filled by you, your employer or law firm. 140 euros cost the application fee for issuance.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other benefits of the card<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The card allows holders o travel back to their country for up to one year. The cardholders can travel to other countries in the Schengen States for up to 90 days as a tourist. People who have had a Blue Card for 18 months can apply for a card of another state.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a Blue Card you can apply for family reunification, and spouses might be granted a residence permit even if they do not have any knowledge of the language.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Blue Cardholder can apply for permanent residency in the EU country after a certain amount of time.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The card can be taken away if certain criteria are not met &#8211; if there is a lack of qualified workers in your country. If your employer took part in fraudulent action, your document is considered false. For reasons of public policy or public security. If you no longer meet the required conditions.
