Every region of this country has a laid-back vibe, and the list of must-see destinations is endless: The list goes on and on: Athens, Crete, Delphi, Olympia, Santorini, Skiathos, Meteora, Rhodes, and Corfu are just a few of the Greek cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greeks value a strong feeling of community in addition to close familial ties. Their culture emphasizes helping one another and being friendly to one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Greek, philotimo, or filotimo, is a noun that means “love of honor.” It’s nearly impossible to fully express the notion in English, but it defines a way of living, doing good, and respecting others. It is often regarded as the summit of all Greek qualities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, before you pack your belongings and fly to the airport, you should become acquainted with the ins and outs of this renowned Mediterranean country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visa requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are various sorts of visas that will apply to your trip to Greece, depending on the reason for your visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. To begin, download and fill out the application form completely and honestly. You can also apply for a Schengen Visa for Greece online and print a paper copy.<\/li>
  2. Two images must be submitted; one must be in passport format and the other must be a current whole-face photograph with a light background.<\/li>
  3. Your passport, as well as any previous visa documentation, must be valid for at least three months after the date of your return.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>
  4. You are required to present a proof of medical insurance which must be a minimum of 30,000\u20ac with coverage of Greece and other Schengen territories\u00a0<\/li>
  5. A cover letter outlining the purpose and itinerary of the vacation to Greece.<\/li>
  6. Proof of citizenship can be but is not limited to a Birth certificate, National ID card, Voters\u2019 card, Driver\u2019s license, international passport, etc.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    1. Itinerary for flights into and out of Greece, including dates and flight numbers.<\/li>
    2. A reservation for a hotel room in Greece for the duration of the trip.<\/li>
    3. Subsistence methods Proof of enough financial resources for the duration of your stay in Greece.<\/li>
    4. Greece Airport Transit Visa: In the transit country, a visa or another sort of entrance permit is required.<\/li>
    5. A copy of your final destination’s valid visa is also required.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      If employed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Employment contract.<\/li>
      • Bank statement of the latest 6 months.<\/li>
      • Leave approval letter from employer.<\/li>
      • Form Income Tax Return or Certificate of Income Tax Deducted at Source.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        If self-employed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • A copy of your business license.<\/li>
        • Bank statement of the company for the latest 6 months.<\/li>
        • Income Tax Return (ITR).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          If a student:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Proof of enrollment.<\/li>
          • No-objection certificate from school or university.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            If retired:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Statement of the pension for the latest 6 months.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              If applicable:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • The last six months’ worth of property proof generated consistent income.<\/li>
              • Note: It is required of you to submit the above documents with a completed visa application form at the Greece embassy located in your home country. <\/li>
              • Other documents, depending on the objective of your Greek Visa application, should be included in addition to the standard documentation.<\/li>
              • For a medical visa to Greece, a local medical report is required. A medical certificate from a Greek hospital or doctor confirming your appointment date and medical status.<\/li>
