There are numerous
reasons why it is also one of the best cities to be an expat. It has everything you want to go
clubbing or you want to walk with your children through the park. The city is very well
endowed with a good transportation system and an international community, which will
doubtlessly make you feel at home. Whenever you wish, you can also fly out of its
international airport, Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). When you are starting, Berlin may
suit you because it has numerous startups. Jobs are abundant, and the market also
accommodates the individual who does not speak German fluently.
Munich
Another expat hot city is Munich. It is small and expensive to live in as compared to Berlin,
yet it has all that Berlin offers. Residing in Munich implies that you can access the big city
and nature at the same time. In Munich, one has many opportunities to go outdoors and
spend some time in nature along the river Isar. The city is accessible by the international
airport, which offers easy access to any location in Germany or beyond.
There are also many international restaurants in Munich and fantastic beer as well. It is a
well-known expat city since it is good to live and balance life and work. It should also be
mentioned that Munich is one of the most costly cities in the land.
Hamburg
Hamburg is a perfect choice for foreigners. It is not very big and hectic like Berlin or Munich,
yet there are still a lot of things to do there. You will be able to walk around the historic
district of Altona, attend such museums as Miniatur Wunderland or Museum of Fine Arts
Kunsthalle Hamburg, located at Stadthausbrücke Street. And much more exciting things,
such as a boat tour on the River Elbe. There are also numerous direct flights to other cities
in Europe, and Hamburg Airport allows travelling easily when necessary.
The best underrated cities in Germany where expatriates can
live
They include:

Dusseldorf
Düsseldorf is one of the most underrated German cities that is good for expats. It is an underrated city since it is not as popular as Berlin or
Munich, yet it offers the same things. When you are a huge fan of Asian cuisine, Düsseldorf
will be a great place. It is full of Japanese, and you can get great and authentic Japanese
restaurants everywhere.
Leipzig
Another excellent place to reside would be Leipzig, in case you want it to be less tense. It
has a very good transport system and a big international community in the city. It also has an
airport to which you can fly out. Leipzig has a reputation for music, and you will find
numerous bars and clubs here that present live music. Food is also in superb condition, and
there are a variety of international restaurants to choose from. It is not that popular among
expats yet, but it has already got its label of being called the next Berlin.
Bremen
Bremen is a lovely little city in northern Germany. It is famous in terms of architecture, and
there are numerous historical buildings to visit.
