In 2017, the Chairman of the National Assembly, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, paid an official visit to the Czech Republic (April 11-14), and the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, paid a state visit to Vietnam (June 6 and 6).

One of the important links for Vietnam - Czech development - is a community of almost 60,000 Vietnamese who live, study and work in the Czech Republic. In recent years, the Vietnamese community continues to integrate deeply into Czech society, on the one hand; on the other hand, he constantly moves to his homeland and holds many activities to promote the Vietnamese culture in the Czech Republic.
