El Salvador is a country that, due to its high poverty rate and the constant natural catastrophes, has been permanently subject to aid, international solidarity and, in the last two decades, an important development cooperation, which has helped to overcome, in good measure, some basic needs, such as, for example, problems of drinking water, electricity, education, health, housing, food, etc. Since 2000, the International Cooperation has increased its resources for the development of many more areas and for the promotion of education, technical training and environmental aspects.
