About the embassy

The Finnish Embassy serves Finland and Finns in a variety of ways. We are further developing the bilateral relations of Finland with Austria. At the same time, we represent Finland in dozens of international organizations based in Vienna. The most important are the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other UN organizations.

We support the internationalization of Finnish companies in Austria and in multilateral organizations such as UNO and encourage Austrian companies to invest in Finland. Through Team Finland work, we maintain close contact with key players in Austria and the multilateral organizations, always in cooperation with Business Finland and the Chamber of Commerce Finland Austria (FinnCham).
