The Embassy of the Czech Republic provides 24 hours a day, free and public holidays, in case the Czech Republic's citizens are in need in the United Arab Emirates or the Republic of Yemen in distress (loss of documents, robbery, accidents, etc.) for any reason.
Third-country nationals need to travel to the Czech Republic for a visa or other document that replaces them. Such a document is, in particular, a long-term or permanent residence permit issued by the Czech Republic or another Schengen Member State.
A long-stay visa (type D) is issued at the request of an alien who intends to reside in the territory of the Czech Republic for the purpose of requiring a stay in the territory of the Czech Republic for more than 3 months. It can be granted for up to 1 year.
