Residence permit types

The Finland's government issues the following types of residence permits:

  • Permanent residence permit in the form of a card bearing the letter P, locally also known as:

  • Continuous residence permit in the form of a card bearing the letter A, locally also known as:
    • Jatkuva oleskelulupa
  • Temporary residence permit in the form of a card bearing the letter B, locally also known as:
