About the embassy
Brazil Embassy in Prague works to promote the diversity of Brazilian culture through activities in the areas of music, cinema, literature, theatre, academia and fine arts.
Cooperation in educational question is an important aspect of the bilateral relationship. Six Brazilian scholarship students of the "Science Without Borders" program have already studied in Czech institutions, which continue to show interest in hosting more Brazilian students.
The Minister of Defense, Nelson Jobim, visited the Czech Republic to sign the Cooperation Agreement in Defense and visit local factories, especially Aero Vodohody, which would later join the Embraer KC-390 project, in 2010.
The Brazilian Embassy in Prague helps Czech citizens through its consular services, if they:
- Need basic or specific information regarding Brazilian economy, culture, sports, education and other cases;
- Need information about requirements and process of getting Brazilian Citizenship;
