About the embassy
The mission of the embassy is to represent Sweden and the Swedish government in Latvia and to promote the interests of Sweden.
We do this, maintained a close dialogue with representatives of Latvia, including in the framework of information exchange and co-operation in the field of culture, defense, defense and other interested parties.
The embassy deals with certain government issues, such as registration of newborns and some other issues related to public documents. After January 1, 2014, the embassy no longer accepts applications for passports and identity cards, as well as statements about cases of conflict in Sweden.
